Orders may be placed online at any time and you will immediately receive an order confirmation email.

Prices and Taxes

You may choose to display prices in CHF, EUR, GBP or USD. Reference currency remains CHF. Prices displayed in other currencies are indicative of the exchange rate of the day. We reserve the right to update our prices at anytime.

Prices displayed on our website are inclusive of Swiss VAT (7.7%).

Items are shipped from our headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. Furthermore, for delivery inside Switzerland, Swiss VAT is already included in the price displayed on the website.

For delivery outside Switzerland: Swiss VAT (7.7%) will be deducted from your order at checkout. Your cart will be updated automatically when you enter your country or delivery. Please note that local VAT and import / administrative taxes may or will be applied by your country's customs separately. L'Escalet is not responsible for any tax applied by the authorities of the country where you are located.

Production information

Our pieces are handmade and made to order, hence require 1 to 3 weeks for production. We do our best to deliver your order as quick as possible. If the order is ready before the allotted window, it will ship as soon as it is complete. On the other hand, if production requires more time than estimated, we will contact you with an estimated delivery date.

Please note that our Atelier closes 2 weeks in August and 1 week during the Christmas holidays. Orders placed during this time are taken into account as soon as the Atelier opens.

In case you need your jewellery more urgently than the normal indicated production window, for example for a birthday gift, please do not hesitate to contact us at and we will be happy to check available options for you.

Shipping information

Orders are shipped from our office in Geneva, Switzerland.

We offer you FREE delivery on all domestic orders (Switzerland) and FREE delivery on all orders above EUR 300 to all countries listed below:

Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, England, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Scotland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United States.

If you would like to make a purchase but you do not see your country in the list, please contact us at info@lescalet-jewellery and we will do our best to consider shipping options available for you. Please note that delivery times and prices may vary due to location.

You will be notified via email when your order ships and we will provide you with a tracking number.

For all orders below 300 CHF items are shipped out via Swiss Post Express International Service. For all orders of above 300 CHF, parcels are sent with DHL, FedEx or UPS based on the country of delivery and the timeliness of the service. All parcels are trackable and insured.

Because of the value of our jewellery, please note that all orders require a signature upon delivery.

L’Escalet is not responsible for any delays caused by any custom clearance procedures in the country of destination.

Return / Exchange Policy

We accept returns and exchanges within 7 business days upon receipt on all unworn jewellery. The article has to be perfectly intact and to show no signs of wear and must reach our headquarters within 7 business days from receipt.

Engraved jewellery and custom-made pieces cannot be returned.

Please note that you will be in charge of shipping costs. We strongly recommend you to use a reliable shipping company and a tracking method, in order to ensure that the package will be received on time. You may also insure the shipment in order to avoid the package to be lost. L'Escalet is not responsible for any lost returns.

If the criteria specified above are met, you will be credited in full upon our receipt of the returned piece.

We reserve the right to deny late and unreasonable returns and exchanges.


L'Escalet conducts rigorous quality checks on every piece of jewellery. Our warranty is valid for 6 months from the date of your purchase and covers eventual manufacturing or setting defects.

The warranty does not cover normal or abnormal use, jewellery cleaning, or cases in which the jewellery has been broken, torn, or scratched. Warranty also doesn't cover cases in which a third party other than L'Escalet previously intervened or repaired the jewellery.

For all repair inquiries, please contact us. Please include your name, description, photo of the damage, and proof of purchase. If we determine that you are eligible for free repair under our warranty policy described above, we will send you shipping instructions.

Repairs take 4-6 weeks to complete. Repairs without prior authorization may be declined, and we are not responsible for any lost parts.
